CORNISH, Dr. Charles Martin
Born January 29, 1917, Ingersoll, Ontario, in his 83rd year, on April 19, 1999. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ila Cornish (1994). Son of the late Dr. and Mrs. C.C. Cornish of Ingersoll, Ontario. Survived by sons Charles of Ottawa, Dr. William of Ottawa, Dr. Bruce of Vancouver, Ewen of Ottawa, and daughter Ila Cornish Hogan of Ottawa. Predeceased by son Roderick (1958). Loving grandfather of Malcolm, Hilary, Anika, Jennifer and Duncan. Brother of Mrs. Doss (Eleanore) Wood of Ingersoll, Ontario and Mrs. John (Marion) Weir, Brantford, Ontario. Brother-in-law of Colonel Doss Wood, Ingersoll, Ontario. Graduate of St. Andrew's College (Aurora) and University of Toronto Dentistry, class of 1942. Following 28 years of service in the Royal Canadian Dental Corps retiring as Colonel of the Quebec Command. resumed private practice in Ottawa. His kindly thoughfulness and sense of humour will be sadly missed by his family, friends and professional colleagues
gentleman of the first order. Visitation will be held Thursday April 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Hulse & Playfair Funeral Home in Ottawa. Interment Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa.
