At University Hospital, on Tuesday, September 15, 1998, age 78 years. Charles George Drake, M.D., FRCSC, C.C., of London, Ontario, beloved husband of Ruth. Loving father of John and Marybeth of London, Jim and Jane of Toronto, Stephen and Martha of London, and Tom and Cindy of Calgary. Dear grandfather of Jonathan, Christopher, Michael, Caitlin, Stephanie, Brian, Madeline, Jennifer, Sarah, John, Rebecca, Patricia, James and Emily. Friends may call on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, Richmond Street at St. James, London. A private family funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, September 19. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. A public memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Siebens-Drake Research Institute, London to establish The Charles George Drake Memorial Lectureship in Neurosurgery, would be gratefully acknowledged.
