IVEY, Charles Robert Bob
Of Unionville, Ontario, and originally from London, Ontario, passed away peacefully, on the morning of July 24, 2003. Devoted husband to the late Maria Ivey. Predeceased by his former wife Ruth Ivey of Toronto. Survived by former wife Martha Ivey of London. Loving brother to the late Peter John Ivey of London, Ontario and to surviving sister Joanne Mazzoleni of Toronto. Beloved father of Charles Leigh and his wife Katrine, James Edward and his wife Elizabeth, Robert Todd and the late Karna Ivey May. Loved dearly by his grandchildren Austin, Gillian and Taylor. Through his late wife Maria, Bob acquired a loving extended family in Europe, and he was fortunate enough to have visited them recently. They include Anita and Alan Sisson and their daughters Helen and Clare, all of Weatheral, England, Frieda Mergl of Innsbrook, Austria, Anton Kohl, and Greta and Kuno Ziak of Graz, Austria. Bob will be sadly missed by friends and neighbours in Unionville, London and Killarney, Ontario, a place dear to his heart. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and share their memories during the visitation at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Avenue in Markham (905-305-8508) on Tuesday, July 29th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 30th at Central United Church, 131 Main Street, Unionville (north off Hwy. 7, west of Kennedy), at the hour of 2 p.m. A Graveside Service will be in London on Thursday, July 31st at 2 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, located at 303 Riverside Drive, London. Attending friends and family are requested to meet at 1:45 p.m. outside the Mount Pleasant offices, located just inside the Riverside Drive entrance, for the procession to the interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Toronto (1-800-378-2233).
