Charles Whebell Peacefully at Marian Villa on Friday, December 13, 2013, Charles Frederick John Whebell, of London, Ontario, age 83. Beloved husband for 59 years of Margaret. Loving father of Elizabeth Charters (James) of Brampton, George (Lisa) of Woodstock, James (Mary) of Orlando, Florida. Dear grandfather of Thomas and Andrew Charters, and Matthew Whebell. Dear brother-in-law of Dr. Arthur Cole (Judy) of Prince Edward County. Born in Nassau, Bahamas. Completed PhD Geography London School of Economics. Professor Emeritus, University of Western Ontario. Charles will be fondly remembered by his family, colleagues and dear friends. The family thanks all the staff at Marian Villa for their loving and compassionate care. Visitation on Sunday, December 22 from 2-4 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, London. The memorial service will be conducted at St. Paul's Cathedral, 472 Richmond St. at Queens Ave., London, on Monday, December 23 at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions to Canadian Red Cross or St. Paul's Cathedral would be gratefully acknowledged.
