PREVEY, Chester Francis
Peacefully passed away at the age of 96 on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Sunrise Senior Living, Erin Mills, Mississauga, Ontario. Beloved husband of the late Mildred Rose (nee Peacock). Loving father of Douglas Prevey, Mary Ann and John Rowsome. Grandfather to Joshua, Brandon, Jarrett, Sean and Patrick, and great-grandfather to Nicholas, Emma Ruth and Alivia. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Chester chose to serve his country through a career in the Canadian Public Service as well as serving with distinction as a Major in the Canadian Army Service Corps during World War II. He dedicated a lifetime of service to Rotary International, was active in his church and a Freemason. Thank you to the staff of Sunrise Senior Living, Erin Mills, for their exceptional care and love. A celebration of Chester's life will be held with family and friends in the future. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
