Christine Bergeron, a beloved leader, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on February 13, 2026, in Vancouver, after a brave fight with brain cancer. Born on October 15, 1974, in Cornwall, Ontario, she lived a life defined by courage, curiosity, and a deep commitment to people. Christine spent more than 25 years in Vancouver, a place she proudly called home. Her career was devoted to supporting entrepreneurs, financing innovation, and advancing organizations focused on sustainability and positive change. She served as President and CEO of Concert Properties, and previously of Vancity Savings Credit Union, and was widely recognized for her leadership and generosity. Her greatest joy was her family: her husband, Rich Holt, and their sons, Everett and Theo. She leaves behind a wide circle of friends, colleagues, and community members who were deeply impacted by her generosity and spirit.
