CHRISTOPHER KENALTY Obituary

Christopher Paul Kenalty, born in Toronto on June 21, 1949, to Ruth and Ken Kenalty, passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2026, in the arms of his soulmate, Miriam, and his devoted best friend, Bogey. Chris will be deeply missed by Rex and Zoey children of his daughter, Vanessa, and her husband, Dave who proudly call him Gramps; and by his close Kenalty family members, his business associates, and the many friends whose lives he touched. Larger than life in spirit, he filled every room with energy, warmth, and unmistakable presence. An entrepreneur from the age of 15, Chris built not only successful ventures but lasting relationships. He was a mentor to many, always generous with his time, wisdom, and encouragement. He spoke about his experiences with such humility, often unaware of how compelling his stories were to those listening. His energy was contagious, his kindness genuine, and his rare ability to connect with people from all walks of life left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Chris lived an exceptional life, rich in adventure, love, and purpose. He shared a depth of love that few are fortunate enough to experience, and he gave that love freely. The lesson he leaves with us is simple and profound: life is a precious gift - cherish it, live it to its fullest, and never take it for granted. He lived with a beautiful urgency, never putting life off until tomorrow, always ready to go right now. He will forever be remembered for his love of anything powered by a motor, the wind in his hair, and the joy of "top down" weather. He built businesses, friendships, and a remarkable life - but in the end, he knew all you need is love. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local wildlife rescue in his honour. A celebration of Chris's life will be held when boating season returns and the sun is shining - just the way he would have wanted.
