CAMERON, Claude Allan (Barney)
0f Innisfail, AB, passed away suddenly on January 19, 1998 at the age of 57 years. Barney was born October 28, 1940 in Orangeville, ON. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie, of 37 years; 3 children: Jennette and husband John Dolson, Bruce Cameron and friend Tracey, and son James Cameron. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Allan, Shaundy, Matthew, Gemma and Shelby. He leaves behind a loving mother, Mary Cameron and a devoted sister, Donna and husband Dave Brady as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members. Barney spent 32 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force, stationed in: Senneterre, PQ; Moosonee, ON; Raymore, ON; Yorkton, SK; Hamilton, ON (Attended MacMaster University); Toronto, ON; Souix Lookout, ON; Shilo, MB; Alert, NT and Penhold, AB, where he retired. Barney's favorite pastime was hiking through the mountains with his sister. He was an active member of the Skyline Hikers Association. Barney was happiest when he was up a mountain, out with nature and spending time with his family and friends. Funeral Services for the late Barney Cameron will be held Saturday, January 24, 1998 at 12:30 p.m. from St. Marks Anglican Church, 4915 -52 Street, Innisfail, AB with the Reverend Ken Wells officiating. Bonnie adds her sincere thank-you to CST. (Woody) Woodfine and his partner who brought the terrible message and delivered it with compassion and love.
