CLAUDIO MAGGIONI 1963 - 2023 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Claudio Maggioni on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. After a long and courageous battle with brain cancer over the past two years, Claudio passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving and caring family. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 27 years, Julie, his loving daughters Jessica and Valerie as well as cherished sons Marco and Angelo. He is survived by his Mother Rosetta Maggioni, his mother-in-law Lorenza and father-in-law Angelo De Gasperis. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Julia, and husband Dave, and Nadia, and husband Anthony, his sister-in-law Nancy and husband Peter, his brother-in-law Tony and partner Janet along with Claudio's many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Claudio leaves behind an everlasting legacy of profound kindness and an unwavering devotion and admiration for his beautiful family. He will always be remembered as an honourable and kind man who endeavoured to tackle any challenge with grace, strength and resilience. His zest for life emanated from within and his beautiful smile will always be remembered and cherished. Claudio was a man of few words, but he touched all of those near and dear to his heart with his steadfast grace and tenderness. His loss will be felt immensely, but the beautiful memories he created and the light he radiated will live on forever. God Bless Claudio Maggioni and may he rest in eternal peace. Visitation will be held at Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel, 8101 Weston Road, on Friday, September 29th from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m and 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, 150 St. Francis Avenue, on Saturday, September 30th at 10 am. Private Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
