CHRISTENSEN, Clifford M.
Passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at age 82. A WWII veteran, he obtained a PhD in educational psychology at the Univ. of Minnesota and held research positions at the Univ. of Illinois and the NY State, Dept. of Education. He was Associate Professor of Educational Psychology at the Universities of Arkansas, Alberta, and Calgary and Chairman and Professor of Applied Psychology at OISE and Univ. of Toronto. In his career he supervised over 65 PhD students. Clifford is survived by his brothers Melvin and George and sisters Eunice and Merlys, his wife Ethel, his daughter Melanie and her husband Martin, and grandsons Stephen and Jeremy. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be appreciated in lieu of flowers. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral.
