Colin was a marvelous friend for over 40 years. One of the very smartest and funniest guys I've ever known. We miss him so much.

A lifelong friend-my memories date to toddler days at the Hermitage Club, many ski runs, LCC sports, Queen's, and summers as Camp counselors and so many social or Sutherland Family events..Suds was a best man..in touch in Europe, Atlanta, Collingwood or Toronto. I planned a few more runs with him at Tremblant. He was a character, and his life was colourful and rich and I will always miss his rye brand of humour always touched with intelligence but an innate youthfulness. Sharing the same birth date we were as close as brothers at times even as the circle of life happenings moved us on. Suds-was a kind guy.

May your family and friends hearts be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together, as we all salute a life well lived. I will miss my neighbour and our chats of shared love for outdoor activities.

What a beautiful obituary, for a beautiful human being. Any event was more fun if Colin was there. My heart goes out to you all, and I am keeping you and Colin my thoughts and prayers.
