It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of D'Arcy, in his 78th year, on Friday, December 5, 2025, in Toronto after a long battle with cancer. A fun-loving and cherished man, who leaves behind his beloved wife of 38 years, Nadine; his kids, Blair (Sarah), Pasha (Dwayne), and Andrew (predeceased); his wonderful grandkids, Marlowe and Bruce; his inherited Macedonian family, including his sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Curt – owners of the Bluewater Café; and his siblings, Fraser (Rose), and Margaret (predeceased) (Allan). D'Arcy was a fun-loving man with a strong sense of integrity, a critical eye and lots of curiosity. He earned his Bachelor's in Phys Ed from the University of Alberta and an MBA from York University, after which he built a successful commercial real estate career over 45 years in Toronto, retiring from Cushman & Wakefield as an SVP. He fostered many positive relationships throughout his life, especially with his friends, Tony Hamilton and Bob (Marcelle) Killey. He loved to travel, sail, train for triathlons, and was always a magnet to fun, injecting a sense of amusement into life that survived until his last days surrounded by his family. His laugh and that glint in his eye will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the medical staff at both Princess Margaret Hospital and Bridgepoint Health for their ongoing, compassionate care. A private memorial will be held with immediate friends and family only. If desired, donations in D'Arcy's memory can be made to Princess Margaret Hospital. Online condolences may be made at:
