DALE STEPHEN COOK

Dale Cook, a kind and gentle searching soul, has found his eternal resting place. Beloved son of the late John and Ellen; cherished brother to Kelly; and brother-in-law to Rick. He was loved by his family and devoted friends. Dale's life was a journey of searching - a path marked by struggles, resilience, and an unyielding desire to find peace within his mind. Though he had few possessions, his greatest treasures were the stories he carried, the experiences he lived, and his quest for understanding. We are deeply grateful to the staff at St. Michael's Hospital for their compassionate care and support of Dale. We also extend our gratitude and praise to the hardworking and devoted staff of the Scott Mission, Dixon Hall, St. Felix Centre, and the entire City of Toronto shelter system, whose support wove a safety net for Dale over the years. Thank you! Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing he is at peace, reunited with his loved ones. "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." (Matthew 5:8) May we honour Dale's memory by living with kindness, for "In a world where you can be anything, be kind." All who knew and cared for Dale are welcome to join us in celebrating his life and praying for his peaceful rest. May Dale's soul find the peace he longed for, and may his memory inspire us to be more compassionate, understanding, and kind.
