ZILBERT, Dale Elaine
After a lengthy illness, bravely fought, she finally succumbed at home on Thursday, January 7, 1999. Beloved sister of Nina Politzer and Arthur and Kathy Zilbert, beloved aunt of Rebecca, Nathan and Leah. Beloved daughter of the late Anne and the late Sander Zilbert. Dr. Zilbert was well known for her penetrating intelligence and scholastic achievements. She was a J.W. McConnell Scholar at McGill University where she received her B.Sc. with honours in psychology. She did further education in psychology at Riverside California where she received her Phd.D. and subsequently worked at the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry. In recent years she was in private practice as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. Her joys were to travel, eat and drink well and converse with a whole host of dear friends. She will be sadly missed by those who experienced her humour and friendship. Funeral Service at the Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Avenue West on Friday, January 8, 1999 at 2 p.m. Interment at Pardes Shalom Cemetery on Dufferin Street. Shiva at 70 Rosehill Avenue 7-9 p.m. Saturday to Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Breast Cancer Research or the Jewish National Fund.
