Daphne CAMPBELL Obituary

DAPHNE CAMPBELL With profound sadness, we announce the death of Daphne on June 22, 2023. Beloved wife of Colin; cherished mother to Mary (Dean), Gordon (predeceased) and daughter-in-law, Gillian; and loving Noni to her grandchildren, Lucy, Sophie, George, Charles and Evan. She was a consummate volunteer. She spent many years as a docent at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Edmonton Art Gallery. She valued her friends and cherished her family. In addition to her appreciation of fine art, she was an avid golfer, tennis player, skier and walker. The beaches of Boca Grande were a favourite. A celebration of life will take place later this summer. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated. Daphne is at peace with her son.

Colin&Mary, We are saddened beyond words at the passing of my step sister Daphne. She is in a better place now and her suffering is over after an extremely challenging year and half.
We had close family ties....we became a blended family in 1956 and Daphne was my Maid of Honour at our wedding in 1961. We have many happy memories of family gatherings over many years.
You must be very comforted to know she is resting in peace now and you can cherish all the wonderful memories you have as well.
You are in our thoughts and we send our deepest sympathy to you all at this most difficult time.
Love,Lynne
