DAVID HAROLD BABBITT

December 27, 1949 – May 17, 2025 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David on Saturday, May 17th, at the age of 75. Son of the late Dorothy and Jack Babbitt, David is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sally; sons, Scott and John (Emily); and grandchildren, Sophie and Max. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Caroline. David was a loving brother to siblings, Cynthia and James (Alison), and the late Susan, Bobby and Andrew. David was overjoyed upon becoming a grandfather and was always excited to spend time with Sophie and Max, even if just over Facetime. In his later years, David faced serious health challenges with courage and determination. He will be remembered for his love of outdoor adventures, his optimism and great sense of humour. A visitation will take place at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Ave., on Monday, May 26, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., with a Celebration of Life at 10:00 a.m. Burial to take place following service at Beechwood Cemetery with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to CAMH (give.camh.ca) or Canadian Muscular Dystrophy Association (muscle.ca) would be greatly appreciated.
