Suddenly in France on September 28, 2007 of complications from pneumonia. Loving and loved beyond words, David's death is a profound loss for his wife Sheila and brother Jim. David will be remembered by family and friends with love and affection for his sensitivity, warmth, wit and charm. During the last three years, David lived life to the fullest; his diary was full of plans for the future. There will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 11:00 am at St. James' Anglican Church, 1138 Bridge Street, Manotick. The family will receive condolences at the church at 10:15 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Sprott Centre for Stem Cell Research (Ottawa Hospital Foundation) or the charity of your choice.
