Suddenly, at the Sunnybrook Health Science Centre on Friday, December 18, 1998, at age 89. Beloved husband of Miriam (Hilliard). Dear father of daughter Barbara and her husband Allan Uffelmann of Cambridge, Ontario and son Ken Bowes and his wife Pat of Atlanta, Georgia. Loving grandfather of Holly, Kenny, Doug, Ann, and great-grandfather of Brittany, Brian and Will. David will be sadly missed by his family and friends. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, December 22, at 2 o'clock at Richview Baptist Church, 1548 Kipling Avenue, Etobicoke (2 streets north of Eglinton Avenue). Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers , memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice or the Richview Baptist Church Benevolence Fund. Arrangements entrusted to the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, Etobicoke.
