Kim I'm sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I remember when he had us swimmers for the overnight visit in the backyard. He was a great guy.

I just learned of David's passing today and I am extremely saddened. He was a kind soul and I always enjoyed coming to work and chatting with him and getting to know him. When I learned he was retiring I was upset because I was travelling at the time and couldnt be there for his retirement party but David came back to the office when I came back to work to say goodbye and to wish me well. I am thinking of all his friends and family at this time.

I am heartbroken. David was the kindest lawyer I ever worked with, I really enjoyed our time together in Coquitlam. He was so smart and helped me learn Litigation and the discovery process. When I gave notice at the Coquitlam firm, (he had just announced his retirement) he called me personally to tell me he was going to miss my presence and wished me all the best in my future. I'm heartbroken for his family as I know how much he loved Kathryn and getting to spend time in Ontario with his family. Thinking of you all today.

I just learned of my cousin David´s passing yesterday. I have very fond memories of David from my youth when my family used to spend summers at my grandparent´s farm in New Brunswick.
My cousin Don and I were born days apart and so we spent a lot of time together at the farm during the first 10 summers of my life. When we were about 10 or 11 years old, David was about 16 or 17 and we really looked up to him. I envied him because he got to drive the farm tractor and he got to go on the fishing trips with the men. He was the older one and he was so cool ! However, he was always very kind to us, the younger kids, even though we were probably always under foot.
Circumstance and geography kept us apart most of our adult lives. However, I had a phone call from him in the mid eighties and even though I hadn´t seen him for about 20 years or so his voice was instantly recognizable. He was as personable as he always was and it was as if I had just seen him the day before.
I am very sad to hear of David´s death. I will always have good memories of him.
I want to pass on my sincere condolences to David´s family.

I am so sorry at hearing of Dave´s passing. Growing up in Napadogan and later in Fredericton I spent many days at his homes. He was my best friend. I have fond memories of playing hockey on those outdoor rinks , the " lake" and those beaver ponds. I remember when he told me about getting married to you and how happy he was. I remember being at your wedding. I remember being at your home in BC and going to a swimming event with your girls. I regret not keeping "in touch" very much. Again I send my sympathies to your family . He was one of the best. An old friend ...Gary

David and I were good friends in high school and university. He was a very intelligent, interesting, and thoughtful person. We lost touch after law school, but I always had and always will have very fond memories of him.
David was a good man.
