I was so grateful for getting to know your family more in the past few years. So giving. My thoughts and prayers are with you Faye, Jake and all who knew Dave. He will be missed.

If you were lucky enough to be friends with Dave Roulston, you would find yourself cheering for The Toronto Argonauts buying season tickets and attending Grey Cup games all over the country. You would become a Minstrel or Wizard or Warrior or Rogue, get dressed up in costume and compete in Medieval type games at his and Fay's cottage. You would get in a snowmobile for the first time dressed in the ski boots you borrowed from him. If you were one of the guys you would play Dungeons and Dragons every Wednesday at his house for 38 years! You would go on his organized golf trips and gaming sessions at the cottage. He would be best man at your wedding and organize Paintball and Scotch tasting for your stag party. He would talk politics and history and discuss Marvel movies with your teenager. He would greet you with a hug and push you to do more and be more! If you were lucky enough to be friends with Dave there is a giant hole in your life and you are devastated for his lovely wife Fay and their son Jake.
My dear friend, you will be missed.

Thinking of both Fay and Jake at this most unfortunate time. I will miss my many chats with teacher Dave on football, politics, high school and of course the dreaded yet fulfilling game of golf.

Dave has drained his last putt.
The fairways and The Firkin will never be the same without him.
