DAVID MURRAY SAMUEL Q.C. With sad hearts we announce the passing of David Murray Samuel, a wise and gentle soul, devoted husband of Dorothy; son and son-in-law of the late Jack Julian and Rose Samuel a'h and the late Sam and Rose Goldhar a'h; beloved father and father-in-law of Johanna, Richard and Marion (Greenberg), Jack and Marla, and Crissy; adoring grandfather of Adam and Galit, Aryeh and Chana, Rebecca, Racheli and Koby Spiegel, Taia, Kobe, Riley and Sophie; proud great-grandfather of Mila, Elizabeth, Olivia, Romy, Ilan and Sydney. David was the cherished brother and brother-in-law of the late Shirley and Dr. Sidney Steinberg a'h, Bea and the late Kelly Wortsman a'h, the late Mim (his twin sister), and the late Leonard Prusky a'h, and brother-in-law of Sala and the late Leo Goldhar a'h; loving uncle, cousin and dear friend to many. David practiced law for over 50 years with integrity, kindness and humility. Funeral at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue W. (3 lights west of Dufferin), on Sunday, April 16th at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Beth Tzedec Memorial Park, 5822 Bathurst Street. Shiva will be observed at 99 Palm Drive following the funeral. Shacharit daily at 7:30 a.m., and visits are welcome from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. with Mincha/Ma'ariv at 7:50 p.m. Shiva will conclude on Friday morning, April 21st.
