STEEN, David Theodore, MA

Died peacefully, in Toronto on Sunday, February 28, 2016. He is survived by his loving son, David Steen Jr. and daughter, Mary Steen; and her husband, Jason Contant. Dear grandfather of Holly Contant. David worked as a creative director in advertising for many years and finished his advertising career as the Vice President at the Institute of Canadian Advertising. Published and award-winning poet and writer. His extensive volunteering included work at the Owen Sound Library Board and with the Grey-Bruce District Hospital. A memorial visitation will be held at the MORLEY BEDFORD FUNERAL HOME, 159 Eglinton Avenue West (2 stop lights west of Yonge Street), on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Unicef Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
