I am in shock.
An incredible loss.
Always seemed to have a smile on his face--- and, a " hi, how are you "
The Band R family will certainly miss him.

I am saddened to read the world has lost Dave. I worked with him at Marsh when I was freshly out of school. He was part of the interview team I first met at McGill and he made me excited to join Marsh. He remained a great mentor, teacher and supporter. Although I’ve never met Dylan and Olivia, I’ve heard of both of you through the lovely stories your Dad would tell when I bumped into him. I’m sorry for your loss.

Au revoir David, you were the super funny mischievous sweet little brother of my oldest friend Elizabeth. I could pretend you were my little brother those many years ago in Rockliffe and Forest Hill. Despite the sadness, it is heartwarming to read this beautiful story about your life so well lived, and your deep care for your family and friends. That is all that matters, I’m sure you will be so missed by all your loved ones. Much love to your family from mine and all the Laframboise.

I worked with David at Marsh. He was based in Toronto and me Chicago. We worked in the environmental practice. When ever we had team meeting or a national gathering David was always where everyone was drawn too. I remember fondly his intellect on American politics and his desire to engage in a friendly debate on an array of topics. He was a kind sole. I would call him for advice and he was always willing to talk. My condolences to his children and family. Rest In Peace David.

I went to Western with Dave. I met him through Sigma Chi. Dave was the Molson Canadian rep on campus my first year - always made sure I had a beer in my hand and always had a plenty of jokes. We had a fantastic road trip to Kent State. Rest in Peace my friend.

I truly enjoyed our many conversations in each other’s office which would quickly turn to discussing our children, hockey and politics. Dave had a great wit and was easy to talk to. I smile when I look back on our many conversations at lunch, having a beer or any social occasion. But I am saddened that they won’t happen again. RIP Dave and God bless your children and entire family.

My deepest condolences to Dave’s family and friends. My heart is broken to hear this news and I am sending love and strength to his family. I worked with Dave at Hub and he was such an amazing role model. I loved our Monday morning meetings, grinding the deal and presenting to our clients. He always had a smile on his face and he made us all feel welcome anytime we went into his office. Thank you for all that you taught me. I will miss you Dave. Rest In Peace.

Dear Turner Family
We Blairs will miss Dave. Dave spent a summer in Muskoka at our Lake Joseph cottage and worked with my brother Christopher and friend Todd Schertzer. Dave was such a kind, happy young man. We had so many laughs that summer. That must be 30 years ago. The memories are like it was yesterday. We were so fortunate to have spent so much time at Redwood Cottage with "The Daver". Sending thoughts and prayers to all the Turners. Godspeed Jamie Blair and Family

So sorry to hear about David's passing. I haven't been in touch with him for years, but I can tell you that i have so many fond memories of extreme laughing fits with David back in the Onondaga summers. He will be greatly missed.

It's rare to meet someone who is a complete package. Turner was such a someone. Humble, sincere, handsome, witty, charming, smart ... so many great adjectives which fall short of describing him completely. I had the good fortune of doing my Executive MBA at UofT's Rotman School of Business with Turner in my class. It makes me smile every time I remember the smile and the fluttering eyelashes that would signal a clever thought or comment. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to the family, and especially his children whom he loved so deeply and talked about often.

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Dave. I saw him a year ago up at the Heights of Horseshoe and as always he greeted me and my family with his warm smile. Dave was a very kind and friendly person and I know he will be greatly missed by all of those close to him. My condolences for your loss.

My sincere condolences to the Turner family and friends. While I had not really seen David in many many years, our circles overlapped, dating from high school and the B&R. I feel as if David was one of the bright lights of his cohort, and I know he will be deeply missed. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

I was so heartbroken to hear the news. Dave always had time for everyone and was so conscientious, kind, warm and fun. When I volunteered with Dave at the B and R, he always made such time for everyone and was so thoughtful in whatever he did. I am so sad I never got to say goodbye. He is simply wonderful and will be so missed. Liz Smart

Absolutely heartbroken to learn the news. A gem of a man and I was lucky to know him. We weren't always in touch - but it was always great when we were.
"oh and to lose. A thing of fools this, and a holy thing...a holy thing"
My condolences to his family and friends.

My deepest condolences to Tante Jill, Liz, Andrew and Michael. I cannot fathom how difficult this loss will be felt. I remember Dave as a boisterous, bigger than life boy. I am so sad to hear of his unfair and untimely passing. Heartfelt prayers to his wife and children and count me in for the proper rousing send off he so richly deserves. Much love, Henrietta

Sending deepest condolences to Mrs. Turner and her family, most especially Dylan and Olivia. My heart broke when I heard the news. Dave was my classmate at Rotman for our MBA. He never failed to make us all laugh with his quips and anecdotes. He was always quick to compliment and I will always remember his kind words.
With deepest respect,
Joyce Rankin
