DEBORAH TUTSCH Obituary

April 9, 1950 – December 17, 2025 Deborah Constance Winters Tutsch passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025. She was with family, surrounded by her favourite Christmas decorations. She was the daughter of Ted and Connie Winters, and the sister of Jay and Bruce Winters. Deborah is survived by Tom, her beloved husband of 48 years, and her three children, Timothy, Christina, and Stephen, who were her prized achievements. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Arlo, Caleb, Emmett, Isabella, Owen, Tessa, and Theo, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride. Her playful spirit matched the children's sense of wonder. She loved and admired her children-in-law Ben, Elizabeth and Michelle. Deborah was a loving wife, mother, and friend who deeply cherished her family. She had a lifelong love of physiology, art, dance, music and reading. She found great joy when she was with those she loved at a cottage or in the desert, surrounded by nature. She was a strong, quiet leader who supported all she loved with grace and optimism. Deborah had a passion for creating art through painting, drawing, dancing and music. She always made time for family, flowers, board games, puzzles and desserts. She shared some of her love with Nester, her departed Springer Spaniel. Adventurous at heart, she bravely whipped around the lake on a jetski in Muskoka, swung a golf club in Arizona, ski raced in Collingwood and left special memories travelling the world with her family. She overcame countless obstacles with grace and tenacity and showed strength every day through her challenges with Parkinson's, breast cancer and ovarian cancer. Nothing could stop her quiet courage and determination. Thank you to Princess Margaret Hospital, Mt Sinai Hospital, The Temmy Latner Centre, and her many doctors, nurses and caregivers. A celebration of Deborah's life will be held in January. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to Dancing with Parkinson's, Singing with Parkinson's, Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation and / or Team Izzy. Deborah will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and the deep love she gave to her family. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished. May her spirit live on in the gift of family, in songs that make you dance and colours that inspire you to paint. Condolences may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.

The loss of a spouse is so very difficult
Memories are the true healer
