My sincere condolences to Mary and family. It was a great pleasure to meet Deepak back in early 1980's when he was the structural plans examiner for the federal government building. He would humbly, and in an extreme polite manner come and ask to view the plans and files for the project. I was always happy to serve him with a smile and he made me feel like I was part of the overall team, and we would often have coffee or lunch together.
I will always remember him as a good friend and well respected Professional Engineer both within the building department and many outside engineering firms.
He loved Bayview Village and would often visit it.
