DENNIS CONWAY Obituary

Dennis passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025. Predeceased by his wife Josephine, and survived by nieces Roberta, Carole (Alan) of Edinburgh, Lesley (Greg) of Melbourne; nephew Michael Conway (Jackie) of Scarborough; close dear friends of Bob Martin, Jennifer Park and family, the Fekete family all of Toronto. Also remembered by many grandnieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by Nicola and Rosa Dipino and family and all the employees of the Hotel Villa San Michele in Amalfi Italy which they adored and was like a second home for many years. Dennis was a long-time employee of the former Ontario Ministry of Energy. He was a symphony and opera aficionado which took him and José on travels around the world including Vienna, Bayreuth and The Met. He was an avid reader of many a good book, a doer of crossword puzzles and was known for his amazing and witty sense of humour. A big thank you to all the wonderful home caregivers. Dennis was truly a fine gentleman. To know him was a privilege and he will be missed more than words can relay.

Ciao Dennis, I'm sure that where you are now is the place you deserved with Josephine, and it can only be HEAVEN.
Thank you for everything you taught us, for your humanity, for your sobriety, for your humility, for your charity, and also for that lifestyle of yours, always optimistic and always smiling with everyone.
I can only say that you will continue to live in our memories and in our hearts forever, and I'm sure that one day, in a different light, we will meet again.
