With heavy hearts, we share the unexpected passing of our beloved father, husband and community pillar, Denny Dias. He passed away peacefully, at the age of 85, on December 13, 2025, following a short hospital stay. Denny is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Dermel Dias; his daughters, Debbie-Anne Dias and Carla-Mae Robbins (née Dias) (Brad); and many extended family members and friends. Born in Port Antonio, Jamaica, Denny was a proud Jamaican-Canadian who dedicated his life to service. He served as a Public Health Officer in The Bahamas and later as a Constable with the Toronto Police Service. A devoted member of Grace United Church, Brampton, Denny was also a Freemason, a member of the Metropolitan Toronto Police Association Male Chorus, and a respected community volunteer. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Brampton Funeral Home and Cemetery, 10061 Chinguacousy Road, Brampton.
