Diana SHERWIN Obituary
DIANA JEAN SHERWIN 1949-2022 Diana Sherwin was born in Cobourg, ON, the eldest daughter of Marion (née Deviney) and Gordon Sherwin. Diana loved Northumberland County's rolling hills and bucolic views, and enjoyed returning to her family home all her life. A former researcher and librarian, Diana lived in west end Toronto and is survived by her beloved husband, Rudy Hogeveen; and daughters, Esmé and Simone. She delighted in long country and city walks, and found joy in discovering new locales to hear classical and fiddle tunes. She is also survived by dear siblings, Elizabeth Sherwin and Jay Sherwin. Diana passed away at home on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at the age of 72. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. (at Windermere), on Friday, September 9 from 4-7 p.m. Memorial Service will take place at Runnymede United Church, 432 Runnymede Road, on Saturday, September 10 at 11 a.m. A private family interment will take place at Vernonville United Church cemetery in the future. For those who wish, donations may be made to Runnymede United Church, Vernonville United Church, or a Charity of Your Choice. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca
