Diane FUST Obituary

DIANE FUST It is with profound sadness that the Fust family announces the passing of Diane Fust on October 30, 2021, at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. She passed peacefully, her family by her side after a long battle with cancer. Diane was born in Montreal on March 16,1945 to the Honourable René Lippé, Q.C., and Ernestine Boucher. She is survived by Norman, her loving husband of fifty-four years, her two sons, Marc (Nathalie Foulem) and John (Rosalind Kurlicki). A doting grandmother to Catherine (Aaron Burden), Nicolas, Raymond, Ryan and Avery, she is also survived by her brothers Michel (Michelle Warthold), Paul (Denise Lizotte), Jean (the late Louise Martin), and her sister Andrée (Robert Proulx) along with many nieces and nephews. Known as a generous and caring soul, many people gravitated to Diane's gentle spirit. Diane's warmth and kindness will be sincerely missed by all who knew and loved her. There will be no public service at this time, however a private celebration of life will be held in early summer (date TBD). Special thanks to the amazing staff at Sunnybrook palliative care for their phenomenal care throughout Diane's stay.

Mes sympathies a toute la famille. Diane, tu étais ma première enseignante il y a 30 ans à St-Jean-delalande. Je me souviens toujours de ta gentillesse et des activités amusantes qu'on a faits avec toi. C'était une belle première expérience d'école que tu nous as fait vivre et je sais qu'il y a plusieurs anciens élèves qui ont des beaux souvenirs de toi. Merci pour tout

We consider ourselves very fortunate to have shared time with Diane as neighbours and friends. She was a remarkable women and consummate lady. The world has lost an angel.
Diane was always positive and warm and had her own personal style of being strong and soft at the same time. We will miss her very much and never forget her. Our condolences to Norm and the Fust family at this sad time.
