Don INNES Obituary
DON CAMERON INNES 1933 - 2022 Don Cameron Innes passed away in Toronto at his home in the Dunfield on October 12, 2022. Don was 89 years old. He was predeceased by his wife of 41 years, Beryl. Don is survived by his older sister Joan Jackson and his three children, Jan, Ellen (Joe Vittorio), and David (Rhonda Mostyn) and his seven grandchildren Evan, Leslie, and Stuart Morgan, William Vittorio, Dylan, Jesse and Julia Innes. Don lived his entire life in Toronto. He grew up in the west end of the City and was a competitive athlete in his youth. He thoroughly enjoyed playing and watching sports, especially his beloved Toronto Blue Jays. An accountant by profession, Don worked for Kodak Canada for most of his career. Atypical for many in the financial sector, Don had a wry sense of humour and could always be counted on to deliver a funny quip. After retiring from Kodak, Don spent time gardening, travelling, long distance walking, going to Jays games, and visiting with family. He was a warm and loving grandfather to his grandchildren, who all affectionately addressed him by his first name. Don will be deeply missed by his friends and family. Don will be interred at the Glendale Funeral Home and Cemetery in Etobicoke.
