Donald BELL Obituary
DONALD WAYNE BELL October 19, 1949- October 19, 2022 Don passed away peacefully on his 73rd birthday with his family at his side. For 18 months he bravely fought off the cancer that continually moved through his body, but it was pneumonia and a complicated lung infection that would not respond to treatment that he was unable to fight. He leaves Kathy, his wife of 46 years, son Matthew, daughter-in-law Casey, son Andrew and granddaughter Julia. Sister, Susan Brazier and many nieces and nephews. Don was owner and President of Western Tarpaulin from 1973 to 2017. He was happiest spending time with his family, especially with Julia, and relaxing at the cottage on Kennisis Lake. He was a private pilot and enjoyed flying his Cessna with Andrew. Our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the lung clinic at Princess Margaret Hospital, as well as to the medical teams from the many departments and nursing staff at Toronto Western Hospital 6th floor who worked so hard to help Don. Your dedication and compassion towards Don and the family were greatly appreciated. Visitation at Turner & Porter 'Peel' Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, on Monday, October 24, 2022, from 2p.m. to 4p.m. and 7p.m.to 9p.m., and continue on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow.
