June 28, 1951 - December 20, 2025 Surrounded by his family, Donald Lewis Shapiro died on December 20th. Don loved his family, solitude, literature, carpentry, and writing. Through his writing, he examined the memories and events in his life. Loving husband of Leigh, father of Adam (Lexi), Matthew (Rachel), and Grandpa to Sandy and Harry. Predeceased by his father, Herbert and mother, Helen; brother to Peter (Bernadette), Robert (Alison), Elizabeth (Dean), Adam.
