DONALD WELSTEAD Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Stanley Welstead, aged 78, on Sunday, August 4, 2024, in Greenwich, CT, after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Beloved husband of Roty Henderson Welstead for 51 years. Father of Grant, Duncan and Devon Elizabeth. Father-in-law of Sarah Lenz, Vanessa Wauchope and Daniel Overlock. Opa to Audrey, Nicholas, Cameron, Kaitlin, and Charlie Welstead. Brother to Joan Graham, Gerry Welstead and Carol Timusk. Don had a successful career in financial services with Scotiabank, the Royal Bank of Canada, and General Re Financial Products, USA. A memorial service was held in Rye, NY, and a private remembrance was recently held in Toronto for family and friends.

My dear Roty,
Pierre sent me Don's obituary, and I send my condolences to you and your family.
I have many happy memories of our times together in Montreal...dinner parties, garage sales (pre, during and the post counting the money )
Grant and Adrienne play dates, sipping our gin and tonics!!
