BOES, Doris C.
Peacefully, at the Trenton Memorial Hospital, on Friday, November 22, 2002, in her 88th year. Daughter of the late Jacob Boes and the late Edith Florence (Edwards). Dear sister of Arnold Boes of Brighton. Predeceased by her brother Edwin and sisters Irene, Lillian and Grace and sister-in-law Frances Boes. Lovingly remembered by her niece Beverley and her husband David Sherwin of Peterborough, and Ronald Boes and his wife Lynda of Tupelo, Mississippi. Special great-aunt of Lisa and Janet Sherwin and Kristen Boes. For many years Doris was a secretary at Glidden Paint Company in Toronto. Upon returning to Brighton she worked at the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food until retiring in 1976. The family will receive friends at the Walas Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and on Tuesday 1 hour prior to the service. Service will be held in Trinity St. Andrew's United Church, 58 Prince Edward Street, Brighton, on Tuesday, November 26th at 2 o'clock. Cremation with interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Brighton. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Victorian Order of Nurses or Trinity St. Andrew's United Church (Mission and Service Fund), care of Box 96, Brighton, Ontario K0K 1H0, would be appreciated by the family.
