DORIS MARION GLOVER August 20, 1917 – December 22, 2009 Predeceased by her husband Charles Glover, parents Charles and Mary (Mae) Edwards, and sister Helen Goodenough. Loving mother of Valerie Whelpton and Julie Glover. Sweet grandmother to Shelley (Adair), David, Scott, Kevin and Brent, and special great- grandmother to Owen and Charlie. Doris spent many happy summers at Stoney Lake, Kawartha Park, where she met Charles. She loved her family, friends, bridge, sunshine, laughter and a good joke. As Owen said, 'she lived a long life, she lived a good life.' Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Mount Sinai Hospital, 11 South. A memorial service will be held in ROSEDALE UNITED CHURCH, 159 Roxborough Drive, at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 28. If desired, please make donations to your favourite charity.
