DOROTHY GENGE (Nee Kovacheff) April 11, 1924 - September 23, 2021 In her 98th year, as the morning sun rose, Dorothy's spirit met Jim's. Beloved wife of Jim. Loving mom to Liz (Ralph) and Jan, sister to Alice (Joe) and Lol (Liam). Dearest Nana to Brendan (Becci), Katherine, Adam (Gabby), Josh (Kaveeta), Alexandra (Neil), Victoria (Devin), Burton, Aidan and Azalea. Dorothy was a skilled seamstress and proficient bridge player, hosting many family gatherings. Jim and Dorothy vacationed at the cottage on Bobs, Flesherton, Destin and abroad. She volunteered her time with the Humber Women's Auxiliary in Weston. Her daily routine included the Globe and Mail with her morning latte, reading and movies. The family are indebted to: PSWs, nurses and caregivers that made daily visits to her Hill Garden home comfortable. Private ceremony at Ward's Funeral Home, Weston will be live-streamed on Tuesday, September 28th.
