Dorothy GOODIER Obituary
DOROTHY JEAN GOODIER Dorothy Goodier passed away Aug. 27, 2021 at home in Toronto after a long life. She is survived by son John and predeceased by husband John Alfred Goodier and parents Harry and Geraldine (Cooper) Aldrich. A graduate of Western University, following her husband's death, Dorothy worked for many years with the Toronto Public Library, Swansea Branch and correspondence school tutor. Gifted with a sharp mind and superb memory, she was generous to so many, especially children. Interment at St. George's Church on the Hill. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Dorothy will be deeply missed. "To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die."

I worked with Dorothy at Swansea as a page. She was a wonderful woman. Loved going to Massey Hall to see Gordon Lightfoot. Always spoke lovingly of her son. RIP.
