DOROTHY JEAN GRAHAM

(née Hodges) (April 9, 1930 – August 30, 2025) Passed away August 30, 2025, at Midland, Ontario. Dear wife of the late Dr. Robert Kingsley Graham; and loving mother of John Graham and wife, Mary Lynne, of Toronto, ON, David Graham of Midland, ON, daughter-in-law, Linda Graham, of Midland, ON; Stephen Graham and wife, Debra Graham, of Akron, Ohio, and Robyn Graham and David Mitchell of Toronto, ON; grandma of Penelope, Alexander, Rebecca, Anna, Natalie, Jacqueline, and Kathleen; and great-grandma of Felix, Rosie, and Rory. Predeceased by her parents, John and Ruby Hodges, of Barrie and Midland; and her brother, Robert "Bob" Hodges of Midland, ON. After attending schools in Midland, Dorothy went on to graduate as a registered nurse from the Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing, Toronto – class of 1952. In the many years following, she continued with her career, mostly in public health and community nursing. She was loved and will be missed by her family and friends. She also leaves behind the companionship of the family of the late Kenneth N.R. Brands, with whom she spent many happy times in Midland, Naples, Bronté, Toronto and Mulmur. At Dorothy's request, private interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Midland. There will be no visitation or funeral. Arrangements by Nicholls Funeral Home, Midland, ON.
