DOROTHY KINOSHITA

Dorothy Shizuko Kinoshita passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband, Gene and their children, Mark (Liz), Michelle (Jim), and Eric (Becka) and grandchildren, Sarah, David, Fiona, Rose, and Charlie and her sister, June (George). She was predeceased by siblings, Frank and Lil. Dorothy was born in Vancouver on March 19, 1937, to John and Chiyoko Fukui. She volunteered for many groups, including York Montessori, North Toronto Skating Club, the Royal Ontario Museum, and the Georgian Peaks Ski Club. The family would like to thank the staff at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital for their care. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Georgian Peaks Club, 104 Wensley Drive, Clarksburg, on November 9, 2025 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, Meaford Hospital, or Royal Victoria Hospital is appreciated.
