Doug INNES Obituary



Innes, Thomas Douglas
Oct. 1942 - Dec. 2016


It is with great sadness that we
announce the passing of Doug
Innes as a result of complications
from bladder cancer surgery. He
is survived by his brother
Richard, his sister-in-law Roberta,
two nieces, Stephanie and Sarah,
two grandnieces, one
grandnephew and many cousins
He was a devoted brother,
brother-in-law, uncle, granduncle
and friend.
   Doug was born in Woodstock
Ontario. He attended Woodstock
Collegiate and the University of
Guelph, and was a chartered
accountant. He worked in the
accounting field in southwestern
Ontario before moving to
Toronto where he worked for
TransCanada Corp. and the
Ontario Government.
   In retirement, he was active in
skiing, cycling, snooker, and
sailing as a member of the
Etobicoke Yacht Club.
   There will be a brief Memorial
Service immediately followed by
a reception on Monday, January
2, at 1:30 p.m. at the SCOTT
FUNERAL HOME, 'Mississauga
Chapel' (420 Dundas Street East,
Mississauga). In lieu of flowers,
memorial donations may be
made to the Canadian Cancer
Society, or the charity of your
