(September 30, 1931 – November 1, 2025) Died peacefully in Oakville with his wife, Patricia, by his side. Loving father of Geoff (Heather), Heather (Leonard); proud grandad of Kalvin and D'Arcy. Fondly remembered as "Dougie" to Julia, Anita, Maria, Nick (Andy); and Pat's grandchildren, Taylor, Holly, Tristen, Jack, Will and Josie. Predeceased by his mother, Esther Gwendolyn Coate (née Wilkes); father, Walter Shirley Coate; and his first wife, Suzette (née DeWolf). A service will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at St. Judes Anglican Church, 160 William St., Oakville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in Doug's memory. Condolences at koprivataylor.com.
