DOUGLAS J. MCDOUGALL

September 18, 1944 – November 22, 2024 Doug McDougall passed away peacefully, in Titusville, Florida, after a long period of declining health. He was the son of Dr. John McDougall (1950) and Clare (Keachie) McDougall (1966). Doug was predeceased by his parents and his older brother, James M. McDougall (2011). He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Julie (Lovasz) McDougall; and his loving son, Maxwell McDougall. He also leaves behind to mourn his loss his sister, Lesley Crysler and her husband, Keith, and their children, Julie Crysler and John Crysler; and his sister-in-law, Helen McDougall and Jim, and Helen's children, Nancy McDougall and Janet McDougall Welch (Jon Welch). Doug attended Ridley College and the University of Guelph, where he obtained his Civil Engineering degree and spent most of his long career working in the US. Cremation has taken place, and there will be no funeral at his request.
