HERSEY, E. Peter
Peacefully at the West Island Palliative Care Residence on December 22, 2009 at the age of eighty six. Beloved and cherished husband of Mary (Creaghan) and just short of their 60th anniversary. Dearest father of Martha A. (Roderick Ewing) and Stephen P. and cherished grandfather of David G. Predeceased by his parents Geraldine (Hodgson) and Eric, sister Madelene (O'Neill) and brother John. At Peter's request, a family service will be held at the old chapel of the Mount Royal Cemetery. It is also his wish that a gathering of old friends be held at a later date at The Royal Montreal Golf Club and in the summer at Burnt Church. In memory of Peter, donations may be made to the Montreal General Hospital Foundation, the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice.
