Aged 82 years, Friday afternoon, June 4th, 1999, at the SRH - Memorial Site. Beloved husband of Barbara (Holderman) Mather of Sudbury. Father of Joan (husband Jack Hart) of Toronto, Peter, predeceased 1974, Val (wife Marijke) of Whitehorse, Mary Waddell of Sudbury, Allan (wife Vicki) of Kukagami Lake. Dear father-in-law of Don Waddell. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie (husband Alex Cromwell), John Hart, Kevin Mather, Peter Mather, Kathy Mather, Derek Mather, Jody Waddell, Dean Waddell, Brendan Waddell, Vesta Mather, Kate Mather; and great-grandchild Miranda Mather. Dear son of Capt. E.F.S. Mather who died in WWI and Kate (Stovel) Mather, predeceased. Mr. Mather was a labour relations supervisor with Falconbridge Ltd., retiring in 1976 with 24 years service. He had been a pilot officer in the RCAF during WWII 1942 - 1945. Funeral Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury, on Monday, June 7, 1999 at 3 p.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
