Earl O'NEIL Obituary



EARL WILLIAM O'NEIL Passed away with his family by his side on August 30, 2008 at Southlake Regional Health Centre at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Doreen (nee Eccles), married for more than 59 years. Loving father of Deborah and the late Michael Doyle, Darlene, Colleen and her husband Greg Curran and Michael and his wife Jill (nee Sheahan). Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Michael John, Jeffrey, Martin, Patrick, Meagan, Whitney, Matthew, Cameron and Claire. Survived by his sisters Joyce, June and Geraldine and predeceased by his sister Lois and his brothers Patrick and Paul. Earl was born and raised in Toronto and in the early 1950's he began a career in the electrical industry leading him to found Earl O'Neil Electric Supply in 1965, a company that continues in his name to this day. He will be missed by many current and former employees and business associates. Friends may call on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Avenue). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Southlake Hospital Cancer Care Centre. Condolences www.rskane.ca.
