EDWARD FOLEY Obituary

(1935 – 2025) Ed passed on Sunday, May 18, 2025, with his family by his side. He was married to his wife, Pauline, for 64 years. He was predeceased by his daughter, Tracey; and sister, Dale (Russ). He was the beloved father of Glenn and Kim (Ed); and the very proud grandfather of Toby, Teddy, and Rebecca Lawrence. He was the brother of Gerry (Karen). Ed was born and educated in Montreal and moved to Toronto in the early '70s. He worked for IBM, Xerox, and eventually moved into executive search, where he ran his own firm successfully until retirement. Always an athlete, he excelled in all his sports and loved every one of them. There will be a celebration of life at the Donalda Club in Don Mills, on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. We would like to thank the Sunnybrook Veteran's Hospital, and Willow House at Providence Heath Care for their excellent care and kindness. R.I.P. Ed.

Ed and I go back to the Mid 50’s ! We were students at Loyola in Montreal and members of the Men’s Hockey Warriors! Since then we have met up at Bayview Arena where Ed’s grandson and my Grandson were playing minor hockey at the same venue! Since then Ed’s son Glen lives in the same complex as we do and it seems life has gone a full circle! Sad to hear of his passing my thoughts to all the family members left behind! My deepest condolences!
