My career at Osler postdated Justice Saunders, but he attended Firm events and was regarded by all with great respect as a leader of the Firm, the Profession and the Court. His memory and accomplishments will live on.

I came to Canada in 1974 to marry Dr. Nancy McKee. As I needed a lawyer, I was referred to Ed at Osler, Hoskin. My legal work was simple but Ed became a friend. Fast forward 40 years and we are both retired and both enjoying a coffee on many mornings at the B&R. After chatting and having our coffee, I used to drive Ed down to Osler Hoskin where he had a regular bridge game. It was out of my way as I lived just north of St. Clair but I did it just to extend my time with Ed. I am grateful to have known such a fine gentleman.
