JARRETT, Eileen (nee Porter) Suddenly, but peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Thursday, October 24, 2003. Catherine Eileen Jarrett in her 75th year, born in The Beach, Toronto on April 30, 1929. Resided in Clarkson; Beaver Valley Ski Club, Markdale; and Mortimer's Point, Lake Muskoka. Dearly beloved wife of 47 years of Douglas Jarrett. Cherished mom of Steve Jarrett and Nancy Mills of The Beach, Toronto; Brian and Betty Ann Jarrett of Oakville; Cathy and Stuart Wiskel of Peterborough; and Sandy and Dave Atkin of Walker's Point, Muskoka. Dear sister of Jean Horn and Bill Porter and his wife Lorraine. 'Poppie' will be greatly missed by her nine adoring and loving grandchildren Mitchell, Gregory, Barry, Kaitlyn, Alexander, Kevin, Andrew, Samantha, and Jesse. Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her family and many friends. Visitation will be held at the May Funeral Home, Markdale, Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A service of remembrance will be held at Annesley United Church, Markdale, Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Markdale Cemetery, followed by a reception at the Keg at Beaver Valley Ski Club.
