Eileen Sybil PITTAM

EILEEN SYPBIL PITTAM Passed away peacefully with family at her side at McCormick Home, on Monday, July 11, 2022, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of Robert "Bob" Pittam (d. 2018) for 72 years. Loving mother of Roderick (d. 2020), James (Sandra), Mark (Hilary) and David (d. 2019). Cherished grandmother to Natalie (Chuck), Andrew (Colleen), Ciara (Alex), Alyssa (Phil); and 6 great- grandchildren. Eileen and Bob were the founders of the Oxford Book Shop Ltd., and Oxford Stationery. Eileen was a vivacious reader who would spend countless hours reading surrounded by her animals which where a big part of her life. She was a true nature lover and you could often find her out working in her gardens. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Horizon Place and McCormick Home for the care and kindness they extended to Eileen while she resided there. A service was held on Monday, July 18, 2022. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Eileen are asked to consider the World Wildlife Fund Canada.
