Elizabeth LITTLE Obituary

ELIZABETH ISABELLE (BETTY) LITTLE (NEE McCLEARY) 1914-2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mom on July 30, 2008. All who knew her were touched by her strength and elegance, her positive attitude, her kindness and devotion to her family and so many friends. Betty made things work. She was predeceased at a very young age by her dear husband, Reginald Jack Little in 1949. Loving Mom to Paul Little (Mar ylou) and Ann Kristoffy (Nick). Affectionately remembered as Nana by 5 grandchildren: John (Laura) and Paul Kristoff y, Jane Starr (Russell), Katie Roland (Michael), Peter Little (Natalia) and their mother Anne Wigle; 7 great-grandchildren: Jack, Jeff and Lindsay Kristoffy; Caitlin and Connor Starr; Olivia and Audrey Roland; fondly remembered by Alexis and Katie Ward. Betty lived her young years in Thorold, Ontario, where her family has had a business, Moore-McClear y for four generations. After marriage, she moved to London, Ontario for a few years and then Westend Toronto for 66 years. Mom spent many happy times with the ladies at the Baby Point Club and as a member of Humbercrest United Church. Mom will be remembered as a woman of faith, courage, grace and dignity, an avid reader with a wonder ful sense of humour, a Tr ue Lady. Mom was extremely proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She took such interest in all of their everyday accomplishments and was always eager to hear all the news. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. (at Windermere, east of Jane subway) for a visitation on Tuesday, August 5 from 5-9 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Humbercrest United Church, 16 Baby Point Road on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 1 o'clock. If desired, donations to Humbercrest United Church would be appreciated by the family. Thank you Louise, for all your TLC.
